WHAT’S IN THE SHOW?
The night kicks off with your MC, award wining comedian and ex high school teacher Daniel Delby, as he welcomes the crowd with some stand up comedy, tales of classroom chaos and getting to know the crowd.
Then he introduces a guest comedian in each city, sometimes they are travelling with Daniel Delby and other times they are the best local comedians he knows in your city.
After the stand up the rest of the night is interactive and based off the audience input.
This ensures that every single Teacher Comedy Night is different. so you can come to as many as you want and they will never be the same!

Video Sketches
Each show has one or two video sketches that capture the absurdities of teaching life, showcasing the lighter side of the education profession.
Live Music
Enjoy the brilliance of Daniel Delby’s trademark freestyle improv comedy or if Whose Rhyme are touring the freestyle comedy improv music duo will close out the first half. Check the line up to see who is on in your city!
Pet peeves & Funny stories from classrooms
During the break, audience members get to spill the beans! Share your funniest teacher stories and vent your “Pet Peeves” and “Funniest Classroom Stories” without worry. It’s a cathartic experience for educators and education department workers alike and a good chance for your friends and family to hear what we go through!
Interactive Games
The second half of the show brings interactive games that involve the audience, adding a dash of unpredictability and uproarious fun. See some teachers take on the comedians in “Are you smarter than a comedian? Or whatever game Delby has created next!
Work Samples and Improv Freestyle Songs
Daniel Delby shares hilarious work samples collected over the years and sent in by past audience members. The night culminates in live improv freestyle songs, ensuring an unforgettable end to the evening.
